Dr.
Tracy McDonald is a native of Hattiesburg, MS and has practiced
both in Nashville, TN and the South Metro Atlanta area.
Tracy received her undergraduate degree from the University
of Southern Mississippi in Biology and received her Doctorate
of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville.
Tracy is also a member of the American Physical Therapy
Association.
Tracy has experience in several disciplines of therapy
including inpatient, outpatient orthopedic, industrial /
return-to-work rehab, geriatric and home health.
Tracy's passion is specifically tailored to
identifying the needs and injuries of individuals in the
performing and athletic arts: cheerleaders, dancers’,
and gymnasts. Her own experience in these areas serve her
patients well, as Tracy's past involvement includes:
- 4 Years as
a NFL Cheerleader for the Tennessee Titans
- 5 Years of
Collegiate basketball and football dance teams at Southern
Miss and Vanderbilt University.
- Private lesson
instruction and choreography for cheerleading, dance,
and gymnastics.
- 13 years of
formal dance training including ballet, jazz, and tap.
